I enjoy this photo because it depicts an ordinary man at work. I wish I cold have stayed around long enough to find out what he was making out of that old wood. Check out Cherry Pickers in Shipshewana, Indiana the next time you are out in Amish Country. There are many cool old things to look at and photograph!

Nostalgia with a Pop of Red

I enjoy all things vintage so I couldn’t pass up capturing this photo of the kitchen table in the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum in Leelanau, MI. After I converted it to black and white my husband, (I admit it), added the pop of red on the cherries. It was my idea but beyond my editing skills. Thank you, Larry! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Easter Saturday a group of us from a photo club got together to photograph the skyline at the Michigan City Lighthouse. Twice a year the sun sets behind the Chicago cityscape. It was windy and cold but the waves were beautiful.
