Artisan at Work

I enjoy this photo because it depicts an ordinary man at work.  I wish I cold have stayed around long enough to find out what he was making out of that old wood.  Check out Cherry Pickers in Shipshewana, Indiana the next time you are out in Amish Country.  There are many cool old things to look at and photograph!

Nostalgia with a Pop of Red

I enjoy all things vintage so I couldn’t pass up capturing this photo of the kitchen table in the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum in Leelanau, MI.  After I converted it to black and white my husband, (I admit it), added the pop of red on the cherries. It was my idea but beyond my editing skills.  Thank you, Larry!  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Arched Windows on City Church

Top:  Arched windows from the outside

Bottom:  Arched windows from the inside with glass knocked out looking out to another section of the church

I believe the brown structure is the pulpit that still hangs from the wall overlooking the congregation.  No one should dare enter it because it’s almost collapsed.
